the Sutherland Room, City Hall.

recommendation outlined in Report PACAC12-022 dated June 12, 2012, of the
Heritage resources Coordinator as follows:
a)
That
the presentation by Brad Appleby of the City’s Planning Division be received
for information.
Committee at its meeting of June 12,
2012 made the following recommendation:
b)
That
PACAC be a formal commenting agency as part of strategic direction report consultations
of the official plan review.

recommendation outlined in Report PACAC12-024, dated June 12, 2012 of the
Heritage Resources Coordinator, as follows:
That the property at 482 Mark Street,
Peterborough, Ontario, known as the Mattress Factory, be recommended to Council
for designation pursuant to Part IV, Section 29 of the Ontario Heritage Act as
being of cultural heritage value or interest.

Traill College Designation Briefs

Heritage Resources Coordinator, as follows:
a) That the draft
Designation Briefs of the following buildings at Traill College be received for
information: 310 London Street – Crawford House and Wallis Hall, 300 London
Street – Scott House, 591 Stewart Street – Kerr House, and 293 London Street –
Bradburn House and,
Committee at its meeting of June 12,
2012 made the following recommendation:
b) That staff
initiate a conversation with Trent University to discuss the matter of
designating the Traill College buildings under the Ontario Heritage Act.

Register of Eligible Properties

That the PACAC approve the
recommendations outlined in Report PACAC12-026, dated June 12, 2012 of the
Heritage Resources Coordinator, as follows:
a) That the report
on the Register of Eligible Properties be received for information, and;
b) That the PACAC
recommend to Council that it include in the City’s Register of Places of
Cultural Heritage Value or Interest, properties that have not been designated
under the Ontario Heritage Act, but that the Council and municipality believe
to be of cultural heritage value or interest.

Other Business

That Committee direct staff
to purchase one gross of heritage mugs.
Erik Hanson provided the committee
with an update on the restoration of the front of the Carnegie wing at City
Hall.
Committee discussed the protection of
the heritage value of Peterborough Collegiate and Vocational School (PCVS).
Committee congratulated Gord Young on
his recent awards.
