meeting of the Waste Management Committee was called to order at 2:03 p.m. in
the General Committee Room, City Hall.

Mattress Recycling Proposal – Postponement of Decision

the Waste Management Committee approve the recommendation outlined in Report
WMC14-001 dated January 20, 2014 of the Director of Utility Services, as
follows:
That
a decision on the proposed implementation of a mattress recycling program at
the Peterborough County/City Waste Management Facility (PCCWMF) be delayed
until the next WMC meeting on March 3, 2014, allowing staff to ensure all
affected parties have received and read notification about the proposal and
have had an opportunity to comment.

approve the recommendation outlined in Report WMC14-002 dated January 20, 2014
of the Director of Utility Services, as follows:
That Report WMC14-002 providing a
summary of the tonnage received at the County/City Waste Management Facility
for the years 2009 to 2013 inclusive be received for information.
