Delegation Requesting
Refresh of Millennium Park Gardens

That the Arenas, Parks and Recreation
Advisory Committee approve the recommendations outlined in Report APRAC13-032
dated September 17, 2013, of the Director of Community Services, as follows:
a)
That
the delegation requesting improvements to the gardens in Millennium Park be
received;
b)
That
staff be directed to explore the concerns further and to report back to the
Advisory Committee before year end with a long term plan to upgrade the gardens
in the park; and
c)
That
the Advisory Committee receive regular updates on the action plan.

Other Business
Ken Doherty, Director of Community
Services will forward information to Committee members on the rental rates at
City facilities.
Phil Jacobs will follow up on the
removal of portable toilets at the Kinsmen Park.
Discussion was held on the idea of
having a skate loan program at local arenas for children.
Next Meeting
The next meeting of the Committee is
scheduled for October
15, 2013.
