Report WMC16-012

Peterborough County/City Waste Management Facility – 2017 Draft Budget Update

 

Moved by Councillor

 

That the Waste Management Committee endorse the recommendations as outlined in Report WMC16-012 dated September 12, 2016, of the Director of Utility Services as follows:

 

a)            That the draft 2017 Budget for the Peterborough County/City Waste Management Facility as detailed in Report WMC16-012 dated September 12, 2016 be accepted and recommended for adoption as part of the City of Peterborough budgeting process;

 

b)           That the tipping fee for mixed garbage, shingles, construction and demolition material and drywall be increased from $90/tonne to $95/tonne effective March 1, 2017; and

 

c)            That the tipping fee for Mattresses and Box Springs be increased from $10/unit to $11/unit effective January 1, 2017 and to $12/unit effective January 1, 2019.

Dispute Regarding S.H.A.M.E. Payment

That the Waste Management Committee endorse the recommendation as outlined in Report WMC16-012 dated September 12, 2016, of the Director of Utility Services as follows:

 

That Mr. Richard Alan Reid be entitled to the full S.H.A.M.E. payment for the duration of his occupancy at 1284 Cloverdale Line.
