That the PACAC approve the
recommendation outlined in Report PACAC10-018, dated June 8, 2010, of the
Heritage Resources Coordinator, as follows:
That the Heritage Preservation Office
report with respect to the monthly activities of the Heritage Preservation
Office for May 2010, be received for information.

Committee provided direction that Sue McGregor-Hunter attend the June
14, 2010 Council meeting to provide the PACAC perspective on the Lawn Bowling
Club matter to Council.

Advisory Committee Appointment
Moved by Sue McGregor-Hunter
That Ivan Bateman be
appointed to the Cenotaph Advisory Committee, as the Peterborough Architectural
Conservation Advisory Committee representative, for 2010.

Michael
Townsend
Committee expressed
sympathy for the loss of Michael Townsend, and discussed his contribution to
the Peterborough Historical Society and PACAC. Committee provided direction,
that the Chair should send a letter to Michael Townsend’s family, conveying the
Committee’s condolences.
Scale
house on Water Street
Gord Young enquired about
the Scale House, on Water Street. Erik Hanson, Heritage Resources Coordinator provided a brief summary
on the Scale House. Discussion occurred about establishing a Heritage Register.
Andre Vallillee left the
meeting at 7:30 p.m.
