That the presentation on the proposed
Improvement Concept of George Street from Sherbrooke to Perry Street by the
Transportation Division be received for information and endorsed.

dated April 11, 2013 of the Manager of Arts, Culture and Heritage Division as
follows:
That the status update by
the Electric City Culture Council Vice-President on current Culture Council
activities be received.

Parkway Corridor
Environmental Assessment

That the Arts, Culture and Heritage
Advisory Committee approve the recommendations outlined in Report ACHAC13-011
dated April 11, 2013 of the Manager of Arts, Culture and Heritage, as follows:
a)
That
the information on the Parkway Corridor Environmental Assessment be received
for information; and,
b)
That
the ACHAC Chair send a letter to the appropriate authorities to provide preliminary
comment on the proposed alternatives presented.

That the Committee review the Parkway
Corridor Environmental Assessment material in depth at the May ACHAC meeting
and provide further comment at that time.

Other Business
A request was made to have
representatives from Peterborough and the Kawarthas Tourism make a presentation
regarding their programs and initiatives at a future ACHAC meeting.
The Heritage Resources Coordinator
showed the Committee members e-Maps, the new external online web mapping
application available to the public on the City website.
Next Meeting
The Chair indicated that the next
scheduled meeting is May 9, 2013.
