Cathy Dueck, Urban Forest
and Ecology Park Manager, Peterborough Green-Up, made a presentation on the
Treasured Tree Hunt. Ms. Dueck presented Geoffrey Eve and Andre Vallillee with
a certificate of appreciation for their participation in the event.

That the Peterborough Architectural
Conservation Advisory Committee approve the recommendation outlined in Report
PACAC10-003, dated January 12, 2010, of the Heritage Resources Coordinator, as
follows:
That the delegation made by Cathy
Dueck, Urban Forest and Ecology Park Manager, Peterborough Green-Up regarding
the success of the Treasured Tree Hunt project, be received for information.

Sue McGregor-Hunter and
Andre Vallillee indicated a conflict of interest, as the owner of the property,
is also their employers’ landlord. Sue McGregor-Hunter stepped down as Chair
and Geoffrey Eve, assumed the Chair. Sue McGregor-Hunter and Andre Vallillee,
did not participate in the discussion or vote on the matter.

That the Peterborough Architectural
Conservation Advisory Committee approve the recommendation outlined in Report
PACAC10-002, dated January 12, 2010, of the Heritage Resources Coordinator, as
follows:
a) That the concerns expressed
by the Peterborough Architectural Conservation Advisory Committee in 2007
regarding the homes on Rink Street, as related to industrial built heritage be
reiterated.
b) That the Designation
Sub-Committee be directed to determine the heritage value of the properties
located at 59, 61 and 63 Olive Avenue to allow the Committee to consider
recommending designation of those properties.

meeting at 7:58 p.m. and returned at 8:00 p.m.

Preservation Office report with respect to the monthly activities of the
Heritage Preservation Office for November and December 2009, be received for information.

to the Peterborough Architectural Conservation Advisory Committee with respect
to the designation of the Peterborough City Hall, and the Carnegie Wing.
