Advisory Committee approve the recommendations outlined in Report MAAC13-004, dated
March 21, 2013, of the Museum Director, as follows:
a)
That
By-law 11-019, Sections 2.3(a) and 3.1 be amended to no longer reference an
Arts, Culture & Heritage Advisory Committee, and that Section 8.6 be
amended to reflect the Municipal Code, Chapter 16, Article 31, 16.31.2.
b)
That
the proposed changes be forwarded to Council for approval.

Ken Doherty, Director of
Community Services provided the Committee with an overview of the City’s
proposed acquisition of the Commercial Press property. Discussion was also held
regarding the Canadian Canoe Museum and their interest in this property.

- 2016 Accessibility Plan (Draft) was distributed to members. This item will
