The meeting of the Accessibility Advisory Committee was called to order at 4:06 p.m. by Councillor Riel, Chair in the Peterborough Room, City Hall.

Follow up discussion on the 10-Year Housing and Homelessness Plan

2014 to 2024 presented on February 5, 2014

That the Accessibility Advisory Committee approve the recommendation outlined in Report AAC14-005 (A), dated June 4, 2014, of the Manager Social Services Division as follows:

 

That the updated information provided by Linda Mitchelson, Manager Social Services Division, with respect to the 10-Year housing and Homelessness Plan be received.

Election Coordinator

Report AAC14-017

Accessibility at the 2014 Municipal Election

That the Accessibility Advisory Committee approve the recommendation outlined in Report AAC14-017, dated June 4, 2014, of the Election Coordinator as follows:

 

That the presentation by the Election Coordinator be received for information.

Andrea Dodsworth left the meeting at 5:00 p.m. and returned at 5:10 p.m. 

 

Other Business

 

1.            AAC Information Brochure

 

The Committee discussed which City image will be used in the AAC brochure, and agreed on the Lift Lock.  Councillor Riel and Andrea Dodsworth will meet with the artist on Wednesday, June 11, 2014.

Eric Lodgins left the meeting at 5:40 p.m.  At this time, quorum was lost.

 

 

Next Meeting

 

The Chair indicated that the next Committee meeting will be held on September 3, 2014.
