The meeting of Arts, Culture and
Heritage Advisory Committee was called to order at 7:00 p.m. in the Sutherland
Room, City Hall.

Report ACHAC09-001
Hunter Street Bridge Presentation by Director of Utility
Services
Wayne
Jackson, Director of Utility Services made a presentation regarding the Hunter
Street Bridge.
That
the ACHAC approve the recommendations outlined in Report ACHAC09-001 dated
November 12, 2009 of the Heritage Resources Coordinator, as follows:
a) That the
presentation by the Director of Utility Services be received for information;
and,
b) That the ACHAC
approve a motion recommending that the preservation of the heritage attributes
of the Hunter Street Bridge be of paramount concern during the rehabilitation
of the bridge.

provided a presentation with respect to the legislative support to advisory
committees of Council.

the City Clerk, as follows:

the Arts, Culture and Heritage Division report on the City’s Cultural Planning
initiatives be received for information.
Other Business
Market Hall Restoration
Councillor Pappas enquired
about the Market Hall restoration. Becky Rogers, Manager of Arts Heritage and
Culture advised that staff could invite Mary Gallop, Project Manager to attend
a future ACHAC meeting to provide an update on the project.
