  • That Council approve the recommendation outlined in Report LSOCS25-016, dated October 6, 2025, of the Commissioner, Legislative Services, as follows:

    That closed Session Report LSOCS25-016, dated October 6, 2025, of the Commissioner, Legislative Services, respecting a presentation by the Chair of the Board of City of Peterborough Holdings Inc. be received for information.

  • Be it resolved that the decision regarding the disposition of 705 Sherbrooke be deferred; and,

    That staff be directed to explore potential opportunities for the use of the property in collaboration with local supportive housing providers - including but not limited to CMHA, Fourcast, and other relevant partners - and report back to Council with findings and recommendations.

  • That Council approve the recommendation outlined in Report LSOCS25-015, dated October 6, 2025, of the City Solicitor as follows:

    That staff be directed to proceed as outlined in Closed Session Report LSOCS25-015 dated October 6, 2025, of the City Solicitor respecting Superior Court litigation.

  • That Council approve the recommendation outlined in Report LSOCS25-014, dated October 6, 2025, of the City Solicitor as follows:

    That staff be directed to proceed as outlined in Closed Session Report LSOCS25-014 dated October 6, 2025, of the City Solicitor respecting Confirmed Administrative Order Litigation.

  • That Council approve the recommendations outlined in Report MOAIR25-008, dated October 6, 2025, of the Commissioner of Municipal Operations as follows:

    a) That respecting a new lease at Peterborough Regional Airport, staff be authorized as Outlined in Closed Session Report MOAIR25-008, dated October 6, 2025, of the Commissioner of Municipal Operations;

    b) That respecting termination of a lease at Peterborough Regional Airport, staff be authorized as Outlined in Closed Session Report MOAIR25-008, dated October 6, 2025, of the Commissioner of Municipal Operations;

    c) That respecting demolition of a City owned building at the Peterborough Regional Airport, staff be authorized as Outlined in Closed Session Report MOAIR25-008, dated October 6, 2025 of the Commissioner of Municipal Operations;

    d) That respecting release of approved capital budget for the airport, staff be authorized as Outlined in Closed Session Report MOAIR25-008, dated October 6, 2025, of the Commissioner of Municipal Operations; and

    e) That respecting a Non-Standard Procurements for services at Peterborough Regional Airport, staff be authorized as Outlined in Closed Session Report MOAIR25-008, of the Commissioner of Municipal Operations.

  • That Council approve the recommendation outlined in Report CAOPC25-002, dated October 6, 2025 of the Director, People & Culture as follows:

    That closed session Report CAOPC25-002 dated October 6, 2025 of the Director, People & Culture be received for information.

  • That Council approve the recommendations outlined in Report FCSFS25-024 dated October 6, 2025 of the Commissioner, Finance and Corporate Support Services as follows:

    a) That the 2025 Audit Planning Report for the Corporation of the City of Peterborough, attached to Report FCSFS25-024 as Appendix A, be received; and

    b) That the Mayor and one member of Council be authorized to sign the Audit Planning Report.

  • That Council approve the recommendation outlined in Report FCSFS25-023, dated October 6, 2025, of the Commissioner, Finance & Corporate Support Services on behalf of the President and CEO of the Peterborough Utilities Group, as follows:

    That the 2024 Annual Report for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2024, from the City of Peterborough Holdings, Inc. and attached as Appendix B to Report FCSFS25-023 be provided to Council pursuant to paragraph 4.13(a) of the City’s Shareholder Declaration.

  • That Council approve the recommendation outlined in Report MOWAT25-012, dated October 6, 2025, of the Commissioner of Municipal Operations as follows:

    a) That the presentation regarding Drinking Water Standard of Care Training be received for information;

    b) That the Councillor handbook be received for information;

    c) That the 2024 Water Quality Report be received and accepted; and

    d) That the 2024 DWQMS Management Review Report be received and accepted.

  • That Council approve the recommendations outlined in Report IPGENG25-027, dated October 6, 2025, of the Commissioner of Infrastructure, Planning and Growth Management as follows:

    a) That Council direct staff to proceed with the implementation of parking restrictions on Hetherington Drive as outlined in Report IPGENG25-027; and

    b) That Schedule II of By-law 09-136 (Parking) be amended to authorize the implementation of recommendation a).

  • That Report IPGPL25-048 be amended as follows:

    a) That Council acknowledge receipt of a notice of intention to demolish a portion of the industrial buildings at 107 Park Street North issued pursuant to subsection 27(9) of the Ontario Heritage Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.O.18;

    b) That council has no interest in pursuing heritage designation of 107 Park Street North with the exceptions of identified buildings  (highlighted in green and blue on appendix B) including 2, 2A, 8a, 24A, 21, 26, 28 and 30.

    c) That council direct staff to consult with the Peterborough Architectural Conservation Advisory Committee and report back to council on the appropriateness of designating  buildings (highlighted in green and blue in appendix B) including 2, 2A, 8a, 24A, 21, 26, 28 and 30 at 107 Park St North under Part IV of the Ontario Heritage act prior to November 7, 2025 or such later date as mutually acceptable to the Commissioner Of Infrastructure & Planning and growth management and the property owner.

  • That Council approve the recommendation outlined in Report IPGACP25-023, dated October 6, 2025, of the Commissioner of Infrastructure, Planning and Growth Management, as follows:

    That the updated Municipal Addressing By-law, as attached, be approved by Council.

  • Whereas the Corporation of the City of Peterborough has eligible costs directly linked to the March 2025 ice storm; the council of the Corporation of the City of Peterborough hereby requests assistance under the Municipal Ice Storm Assistance program.

    Further that Richard Freymond, Commissioner, Finance and Corporate Support Services / Treasurer is given delegated authority to verify and attest to the accuracy of the Municipal Ice Storm Assistance program application package.
