That the Municipal Heritage Committee
(PACAC) approves the recommendations outlined in Report PACAC11-028 dated
December 13, 2011 of the Heritage Resources Coordinator as follows:
a) That a
presentation by Debbie Keay of Building Character, on behalf of the design team
for the redevelopment of 475 George Street North, regarding the final design of
the old YMCA redevelopment be received;
b) That the final
design for the redevelopment of 475 George Street North, including the
demolition of the original gymnasium, be endorsed and the Committee recommends
its approval to Council.
