Preservation Office Report
Councillor Pappas indicated an
interest to the Heritage Tax portion of the report, as his business is located
in a designated heritage property.
Stewart Hamilton indicated an interest
to the Heritage Tax portion of the report, as he owns a designated heritage
property.

That the PACAC approve the
recommendation outlined in Report PACAC11-0013, dated May 10, 2011 of the
Heritage Resources Coordinator, as follows:
That the Heritage Preservation Office
report with respect to the monthly activities of the Heritage Preservation
Office for April 2011, be received for information.

Transportation Master Plan

That the Heritage
Coordinator prepare a report with respect to historically significant
properties, that may be effected by the implementation of the Transportation
Master Plan, for the next committee meeting.

That the Heritage
Coordinator prepare a report regarding the Register of Eligible properties, for
the next committee meeting.

Jennifer Patterson,
Heritage Assistant, reminded Committee of the Ontario Heritage Conference in
June.
Gord Young enquired about
outstanding plaques for designated heritage properties.
Chris Gooderham noted that
he will be sending a letter to the Manager of Public Works, Major Projects,
regarding the Draft Urban Forest Strategic Plan, and that members could submit
any comments they wished included in the letter, by email.
Former Maple Leaf Hotel on
Hunter Street

That the Heritage
Coordinator prepare a report regarding the former Maple Leaf Hotel on Hunter
Street, and the two adjacent buildings for the next committee Meeting.
