Committee was called to order at 4:03 p.m. by the Chair in the Sutherland Room,
City Hall.

Access Fund

2012, of the Accessibility Coordinator as follows:
That the presentation regarding the
City of Peterborough Access Fund be received for information.

Other Business
Acting Clerk, John Kennedy
noted that the ramp and stairs to the East Link entrance to City Hall will be
under construction from May through to July 2012.
Phyllis
Hodder, Accessibility Coordinator indicated reports for next meeting include Chair
contact information on AAC website, a report from the Transportation Committee,
a report from the Built Environment Committee and a presentation from Building
and/or Planning Divisions to provide Committee with site plan information.
Councillor Riel mentioned
the issue with large strollers on City buses and space constraints.
Marie Bongard and Committee
discussed bringing the matter of barrier free access on City sidewalks to the
Built Environment Committee.
Access Awareness Week will
be held on May 28, 2012, 11:30 p.m. Lansdowne Place, Centre Court.
Marie Bongard mentioned a charity walk
for dog guides on May 27, 2012, 1:00 p.m. Lions Centre, Burnham Street.
