  • That the Council minutes of the meeting of March 25, 2019 be approved.

Councillor Wright declared a conflict with item 4, as he is an occasional Aribnb host.

  • That General Committee Report No. 6 be approved.

General Committee meeting of April 8, 2019

  • Councillor Wright declared a conflict on this item. (Councillor Wright declared a conflict with item 4, as he is an occasional Aribnb host.)
  • That General Committee Report No. 7 be approved.

    Item 6,

    moved as a friendly amendment to the main motion:

    That recommendation b) be amended by adding 546 Aylmer Street to the list of properties to be considered by PACAC.

    Moved as part of the main motion.  
     
    That recommendation c) be amended by adding the word "temporarily" to the motion related to the Bed and Breakfasts.
     
      
    That the recommendations be amended by adding h) as follows:
     
    h) That staff report back to council at a future date on the feasibility to include Bed and Breakfast  and Airbnb Establishments in the Municipal Accommodation Tax program.
     
    Councillor Wright declared an interest as he owns and Airbnb and did discuss or vote on the matter.
     
    Item 7 - recorded vote c- carried.
     
     
    Upon the main motion, less item 7, including amended items 4 and 6, the motion carried.

General Committee meeting of April 23, 2019

Proposed Recommendation:

That Council approve the recommendation outlined in Report IPSBD19-001 dated April 23, 2019, of the Commissioner of Infrastructure and Planning Services as follows:

That authority to enter into Conditional Building Permit Agreements be delegated to the Chief Building Official pursuant to Section 8(3) of the Building Code Act.

Being a By-law to amend the Zoning By-law for the lands known as 90 Hunter Street East, 423 Mark Street and 427 Mark Street

Being a By-law to amend the Zoning By-law for the lands known as 539 George Street North

11.4

Being a By-law to amend the Zoning By-law for the lands known as 730 Orpington Road

11.5

Being a By-law to delegate to the Chief Building Official the authority to enter into Conditional Building Permit Agreements

    and the said by-law having been read now a third time and passed, the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to sign and seal the same.
