The
Arenas, Park And Recreation Advisory Committee meeting was called to order by
Ken Doherty, Director of Community Services at 5:30 p.m. in the Sutherland
Room.

as vice-chair of the Arenas, Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee for 2010.

of Bottled Water in City Facilities

item.

the Arenas Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee approve the
recommendations
outlined in Report APRAC10-002 dated January 19, 2010, of the
Recreation
Coordinator as follows:
a)
That the Arenas Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee receives report
APRAC10-002 for information; and
b) That the Arenas
Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee provides input to Staff regarding the sale and serving
of bottled water in City facilities.

staff review all situations where bottled water is used in City facilities and
to explore alternative solutions and to eliminate the use of bottled water no
later than 2016 to coincide with contractual obligations.

Coordinator, as follows:
That
the Arenas Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee select two of their members
to sit on the 2009 Civic Awards Screening Committee.
