Committee was called to order at 4:01 p.m. by the Chair in the Sutherland Room,
City Hall.

recommendation outlined in Report AAC12-016, dated November 7, 2012, of Phyllis
Hodder, Accessibility Coordinator as follows:
That the presentation by Niquel Pritchard Pataki Administrative Assistant with
the Peterborough Lakefield Police Services Board, regarding the requirements of
the Police Services Board to seek public opinion on the proportion of on-demand
accessible taxicabs required within the City of Peterborough be received.

Animals Chapter 192 Dogs-Licensing-Regulation

the Accessibility Advisory Committee review the recommendation outlined in
Report AAC12-014(A), dated November 7, 2012, of Phyllis Hodder, Accessibility
Coordinator as follows:
That
The City of Peterborough By-Law Animals, Chapter 192 Dogs – Licensing –
Regulation appended to Report AAC12-014(A), be received for review.
The
Committee made the following recommendations:
That
the fines for all dogs running at large be $125 for the first offense, $250 for
second offense and $500 for the third offense.
No
person shall touch, feed, impede or interfere with a service animal, without
lawful excuse or authority.
No
person who owns an animal or has pocession or control of an animal shall allow
that animal to touch, impede or interfere with a service animal, without lawful
excuse or authority.

the Accessibility Plan for 2012-2017, appended to Report AAC12-015(A), be
received for review.

the January meeting regarding the 2013 meeting dates.
The Chair thanked Janet Ali and Anna
Lee for their involvement on this committee as this is the last meeting of their
terms.

update on the Transportation Sub-Committee.
Andrea Dodsworth gave Committee
members an update on the Built Environment Sub-Committee.
