That Council approve the
recommendation outlined in Report PLPD16-062 dated August 29, 2016, of the Manager,
Planning Division, as follows:
That the zoning of the subject
properties be amended from the M2.1 – Prestige Industrial District to the
M2.1,18b – Prestige Industrial District, in accordance with the draft amendment
attached as Exhibit ‘B’ to Report PLPD16-062.

Proposed Growth Plan for the Greater Golden Horseshoe,

overview of Report PLPD16-060.

That
Council approve the recommendations outlined in Report PLPD16-060 dated August
29, 2016, of the Manager, Planning Division, as follows:
a)
That
Report PLPD16-060 be received for information, and
b)
That
Council authorize staff to forward a letter summarizing the City of
Peterborough’s comments on the “Proposed Growth Plan for the Greater Golden
Horseshoe, 2016”, as described in Report PLPD16-060, to the Ministry of
Municipal Affairs and Housing prior to October 31, 2016.
At
the meeting of August 29, 2016 the following was added:
c)
That
staff hold an open house to provide the City of Peterborough’s
response/comments regarding the “Proposed Growth Plan for the Greater Golden
Horseshoe, 2016” to the public, and that this be completed prior to September
30th, 2016.
