Minutes of a Meeting of City Council Held on Tuesday,
June 10, 2014, at The Peterborough Sport and Wellness Centre.
The
City Council meeting was called to order at 7:10 p.m.
Roll
Call:
Mayor Bennett provided introductory
remarks regarding the special meeting of Council, which was arranged for the
purpose of presenting the 2013 Civic Awards.
Councillor Parnell provided an
overview of the various Civic Award Categories and explained the process that
is followed in determining who will receive the awards.

That the Civic Awards consisting of
Community Betterment, Cultural Betterment, Athletic Award of Merit, Sport
Betterment, Junior Female Athlete of the Year, Junior Male Athlete of the Year,
Senior Female Athlete of the Year, Senior Male Athlete of the Year, Sports
Personality of the Year, Youth Female Volunteer of the Year, Volunteer of the
Year, Lifetime Achievement Award and Mayor’s Civic Award be presented at this
time.

By-law to confirm the proceedings of the Council at its meeting held on June 10,
