2013 in the Sutherland Room, City Hall.
The meeting of the Peterborough
Architectural Conservation Advisory Committee was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by

2013 Heritage
Conservation Workshop

That the PACAC approve the
recommendations outlined in Report PACAC13-022, dated June 19, 2013 of the
Heritage Resources Coordinator, as follows:
a)
That
the PACAC undertake the coordination of a community heritage workshop on
masonry conservation for fall of 2013, and;
b)
That
the Committee provide a budget of &875.00 for the workshop, and;
c)
That
Staff seek a proposal from John Laundry for the delivery of the workshop.

Weller Street, 404 Belmont Avenue, and 499 Homewood Avenue.

Heritage Preservation
Office Report

recommendation outlined in Report PACAC13-018, dated June 19, 2013 of the
Heritage Resources Coordinator, as follows:
That the Heritage Preservation Office
report with respect to the monthly activities of the Heritage Preservation
Office for May 2013, be received for information.

Other Business
The Committee requested
that a Presentation on the Environmental Assessment on Chemong Road be made at
the September Committee meeting.
The Chair questioned why
the Committee was not circulated on the construction taking place in the City
Hall parking lot. In the future, the Committee requested that they be notified
of all building taking place on City Hall property as it is a designated
building.
It was noted that two
current and one past member of PACAC received Cultural Betterment Awards at the
Civic Award Ceremony held on June 11, 2013. Congratulations to Stewart
Hamilton, Paul Lumsden and Geoffrey Eve.
Next Meeting – The Chair indicated that
the next meeting of the Committee is scheduled for September 10, 2013.
