2013, of the Accessibility Coordinator, as follows:
That the presentation by
the City of Peterborough’s Accessibility Compliance Coordinator, regarding the
development of the AccessForward website dedicated to IAS training, be received
for information.

Review of City of
Peterborough User Fees By-law (12-170)

the recommendation outlined in Report AAC13-009 dated May 1, 2013, of the Accessibility
Coordinator as follows:
That the City of Peterborough By-law 12-170
being a By-law to establish user fees appended to Report AAC13-009, be received
for review.
Committee at its meeting of
May 1, 2013 added the following recommendation:
That
the Director of Community Services be invited to attend the June 5, 2013 AAC
meeting to discuss how the Community Services department responds to requests
for reduction of facility rental fees.

the recommendation outlined in Report AAC13-010 dated May 1, 2013, of the Accessibility
Coordinator as follows:
That the AAC, at its meeting on June 5, 2013,
develop a priority list to establish the goals of the Committee over the next
few years.

Other Business
Committee members were given
details on the Accessibility Advisory Forums 2013 being held in different
cities in May and June as well as a CNIB Technology and Information Fair being
held at the Lions Centre (Peterborough) on May 23rd.
Committee members shared
details on numerous special fundraisers happening in the community.
Transportation Sub-committee
Janet Ali provided Committee members with
an update on the Transportation
sub-committee.
