Conservation Advisory Committee Held on January 8, 2015 in the Sutherland Room,
City Hall.
The
meeting of the Peterborough Architectural Conservation Advisory Committee was
called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Stewart Hamilton, Chair in the Sutherland Room,
City Hall.

That
the minutes of the Peterborough Architectural Conservation Advisory Committee
meeting held on October 2, 2014 be approved as amended.
The
Chair informed the Committee that he had a request from the new owners of the
YMCA Building to make a presentation to PACAC at tonight’s meeting. He asked
that the Committee consider amending the agenda to add the item.

Corporation regarding the former YMCA building for information.

recommendations outlined in Report PACAC15-002, dated January 8, 2015 of the
Heritage Resources Coordinator, as follows:
a)
That
the Committee receive a delegation from the property owners of 482 Mark street,
b)
That
the PACAC approve the revisions to the proposed alterations to 482 Mark Street,
and
c)
That
the PACAC delegate future approvals for any proposed alterations to 482 Mark
Street to the HPO Office

2015 Expenditures

the Peterborough Architectural Conservation Advisory Committee approve the
recommendations outlined in Report PACAC15-001, dated January 8, 2015 of the
Heritage Resources Coordinator, as follows:
a)
That
the PACAC fund advertising and publicity for 2015 Heritage Week activities to a
maximum of $1,000;
b)
That
the PACAC approve a budget of up to $1,700 for the coordination and publicity
associated with the 2015 Heritage Hunt;
c)
That
the PACAC approve the expenditure of $325 for the installation of the street
banner at Ware Street for the last half of April 2015 to promote the Heritage
Hunt and Doors Open 2015; and
d)
That
the PACAC approve the expenditure of $325 for the installation of the street
banner at Murray Street for the first half of October 2015 in celebration of
the Committee’s 40th Anniversary.

That the report with respect to the
monthly activities of the Heritage Preservation Office for October, November,
and December 2014 be received for information.

the PACAC Chair send a letter to the Planning Division to reiterate the points
brought up in the earlier letter regarding the Cultural Heritage Landscape
Assessment for Lily Lake Road Subdivision.
