A
report to evaluate the planning merits of amending the Official Plan
designations of the lands known as 545 The Queensway, 620 Cameron Place and
909 Cameron Street to ‘Service Commercial’ with a site specific policy to
permit large format retail uses in addition to Service Commercial uses.
The
report further evaluates the planning merits of amending the Zoning
By-law to rezone the subject lands from the Industrial and Service Commercial
Districts to the C.7 – Special Purpose Retail District with exceptions to
reduce the landscaped open space and to permit up to a maximum of 9500m2
(102260 ft2) of Special Purpose Retail uses.
