5:30 p.m. in the Sutherland Room.

of advisory committees.

Report APRAC09-004 City Insurance Coverage of
Olympic Torch Relay Community Celebration

That the Advisory Committee approve
the recommendation outlined in Report
APRAC09-004 dated November 17, 2009,
of the Director of Community
Services, as follows:
That the local Olympic Torch Relay
Community Celebration Committee,
its volunteers and special events
planned for December 15th and 16th, 2009 be recognized as a City of
Peterborough sponsored event for inclusion in the City's insurance program.

The Director of Community
Services and the Arenas, Park and Recreation Committee congratulated Yvonne
Coveney-Boyd for receiving the 2009 Provincial Senior Achievement Award.
Committee Chair Paul
Dietrich discussed the role of the Arenas, Park and Recreation advisory
committee in the future and the importance of committee involvement in parkland
acquisition matters.
The Director of Community
Services and the Arenas, Park and Recreation Committee thanked the outgoing
committee members, including Chair, Paul Dietrich for their involvement and
contributions to the committee.
